Who should attend? Everyone who cares classic jazz and is willing to feel a little carefree ('bohém', as we say in Hungarian) – no limits regarding age, gender, spoken language or whatsoever.

Since 1992 at the last weekend of March there is always a Bohém Festival held in Kecskemét, Hungary every year. The biggest Jazz Festival of the region: although the center of the Festival is the 3 days in Kecskemét, there is 10-15 cities involved in 6-8 days every year.

It is the Festival of specialties: according to the philosophy of the Festival we invite ragtime and traditional jazz bands and soloists who are among the very best and are unique in some regards - in style, instrumentation, repertoire... And, of course, they are all "Bohém" (i.e. bohemian - meaning happy, carefree, funny etc.).
