 Ken AOKI (J) – banjo
It is no exaggeration: the young Japanese Ken Aoki is the fastest banjo player in the world. His playing is not only an unbelievably virtuoso but also very sensitive. He plays wonderful delicate versions of classical music, too, including movements from Bach's Partitas for solo violin, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, or Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue (as you can witness in the videos below). Ken Aoki mainly teams up with the Hungarian Hot Jazz Band at the Bohém Festival.
