The Night Owls (F) – formerly Wooden Heads

We heard them play in Davos in 2009. No exaggeration: this is the BEST New Orleans style band in Europe.

The Night Owls is a Parisian band bewitched by a unique musical heritage tied to ragtime, blues, gospel, Caribbean rhythms and old songs from the south. The sextet share a passion for these traditional musics and always colour their performances with a real New Orleans accent. Every tune intense, enlivened with swinging, stomping, syncopated beats that never fail to entice an audience onto the dance floor.

The Night Owls is a New Orleans revival style band principally performing in clubs and festivals around Europe. Heavily influenced by Kid Thomas, George Lewis, the Humphrey brothers or Paul Barbarin (just to name a few) – these highly appreciated and experienced musicians will bring that high energy, second line euphoria to every concert they play...
