On the way back from Ascona we stopped in Zillis to see the pride of the Swiss, the old church with painted wooden ceiling. Well, it is a bit over-renovated to our taste and we have a lot of much nicer example of such architecture in Hungary and Transsylvania. Anyway, then we went on to see the Via Mala Schlucht. This is a breathtaking canyon about the spring of the river Rhein. High rocks and deep cliffs around everywhere. We climbed down closer to the water and didn't understand how people had been able to build the road among those rocks. Especially that the road was in use by men and their donkies already many centuries ago...
